It’s early on a Saturday morning and I’m with two women. Never thought this would happen. We’ve been at this now for an hour and a half and I’m struggling to keep up. Our sweat-soaked bodies are breathing heavy.
“It’s so hard” gasps one, “And so long”, the other. I try to be encouraging. “The trick is to fall into a steady rhythm and try to maintain that for a while until you reach the end”, I say.
Silence for a while, punctuated only by the sound of our heavy breathing. “Nearly there”, I say.
